Need help to care for a Loved One? Are you feeling overwhelmed by caregiving as a whole?

Are you concerned as to how to navigate your loved ones’ health and well-being? Feeling overwhelmed managing their multiple medications and doctor appointments? Worried they are not eating properly or getting out to maintain their customary daily schedules?

Senior care resources that are reputable and reliable is the answer to ensure their safety and your peace of mind…. EGIS is that answer!

As we know, a simple task can be monumental if not impossible for an aging adult; however, EGIS can help make it possible and not so daunting!

EGIS starts with an intake, also known as the Care Plan. It will focus on outlining and defining the needs of your Loved One, such as health and wellness, with the goal of keeping them as independent and safe in their home as long as possible. These EGIS services provide peace of mind for the client as well as their family.

EGIS Complete Care, Inc. is Quality Senior Home Care. What does “complete care” mean? As you might know, most Home Care companies only have one main service, that being home care. EGIS Complete Care offers In-Home Care Services but also adds Eldercare Management Services (Care Management) and Information Resource Services. Three services with ONE phone call to ONE company!

Initially, your loved might just need home care. We can help with that. As time passes and your Loved One “ages in place” wherever they call home EGIS can be present to be an extra layer of support for your senior’s basic activities of daily living and additional care needs.

As stated earlier, EGIS is different in that we offer three different services. Our first and primary service is In-Home Care. Our home care services provides experienced, caring, compassionate caregivers. With Home Care services, we assist in Activities in Daily Living (ADLs) which consist of eating, bathing, dressing, transferring and toileting. We also assist with IADLs or Instrumental Activities of Daily Living. IADLs consist of meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, exercising, assistance with doctors’ appointments, transportation, medication reminders, grocery shopping, household errands, social errands, shopping, and hair or nail appointments, miscellaneous errands, etc. In order to provide these services, we remain familiar with Alzheimer’s Care, Cancer Care, Dementia Care, Parkinson Care, Diabetes Care, Congestive Heart Failure Care, Companion Care, Respite Care, Stroke Care, End of Life Care and so much more.

With our Eldercare Management Services, we assist with coordinating and transporting to doctor appointments, filling out forms such as Long-Term Care Insurance, coordinate different transport needs, help navigate various living options, assist with guardianship or conservatorship paperwork and serve as medical power of attorney and/or financial power of attorney. The EGIS Care Managers also provide in-home consultation/solutions to improve safety and accessibility. Concierge Bill Pay is also a service our Care Managers provide. This includes writing a check, balancing a checkbook, assist with organizing tax or insurance papers, organizing emails, phone messages, etc.

EGIS can also help with companionship and respite care. Additionally, once loved ones are ready to go back home, into the community, we can be part of the discharge planning process from hospitals, skilled nursing or rehab centers.

Finally, when other services not in our scope of services are needed, such as selling a house, downsizing, setting up a trust, dealing with financial assets, guardianship, conservatorship, reverse mortgages, etc., EGIS has a network of trusted community resources for referral. In order to ensure your loved one remains where they are most comfortable, we also collaborate with other in home providers such as Home Health, Hospice and Palliative care.

What is required for services to be provided? The hourly requirement to receive EGIS services is that shifts be at least 3 hours in length. Other than a 3 hour minimum, EGIS can provide 8 hours to 12 hours to overnight supervision or even 24/7, whatever is needed.

To get started and/or inquire more about who we are and what EGIS offers, please take a look at our website, www.egisnewmexico.com or call us at 505-995-0485. A Care Manager will be happy to setup a 15 minute complimentary phone call and can follow up with an in home assessment and care plan.
